I just realized

that I never updated all of you on where I placed some of my "25 Day's of Pinterest" projects!

Let's take a quick look back!

So, I made these...

And instead of grouping them like a little village, I put them on our ladder bookshelves with my other collectibles...

I added some fake trees that I'd bought for a snowglobe project here and there along with some little berry pics - I felt like it needed some extra pops of color...

To get different heights, I used plastic children's bowls as stands and just clustered cloudy snow all around.

My taped reindeer mantle piece grew a little over the season...

My reindeer got a few more antlers - he was more of a young Bambi in the beginning buy grew to be quite an impressive buck by the end!

And last, here's the painted $1 Store vases in my dinning room hutch with my favorite PB Santa Plates...

Well, that's it! I just wanted to share the end result of my Pinterest series!

I'm planning on using some of the same ideas for Kerry's bridal shower that I found for my 25 Day's of Pinterest series, I'll share as I go!

On the 24th Day of Pinterest...

My crafty love gave to me...

A red $1 store candle holder!

Here's my Pinterest Inspiration...

I like the whole look, the candle holder, the peppermint striped candle with popcorn on the top... so I made the candle holder from a candle stick and candle plate from the $1 Store.

I glued them together with the glue below. I let it set up over night.

I then decided to paint it with a glossy red spray paint.

I did about 3 coats, and turned it over so that I could make sure to get all the nooks and cranny's.

Very simple, very easy and very inexpensive!

We're having my future sister-in-law's bridal shower here in the spring and I think I might make more of these in different colored purples for part of the centerpieces!

And, since today's the final day of my Pinterest series, let me share the rest of what our crazy Christmas Elf, Paddywagon, has been up to!

He cordened off the living room...

Had an illegal drag race in the playroom...

Apparently Grease was his inspiration...

Relaxed with a good Christmas book and a cup of Hot Cocoa...

Made our living room into a Cat's Cradle with Baker's Twine...

And made a snow Angel... errr... Marshmallow Angel...

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the past 24 Days... I still have a lot of projects that I plan to make from Pinterest, so I think that I'm going to make it a weekly segment after the First of the Year!

On the 23rd Day of Pinterest...

My crafty friend made for me...

Some yummy Reindeer and Snowman Donuts!

Now, I saw these reindeer on Pinterest a few months ago and made them for a fun event at Page's From the Heart but Adam asked if we could make them again, so I'm repeating the post for anyone who didn't see the last one!

We used Enteman's chocolate mini donuts and white powder donuts for our reindeer and showman. We searched out all of the red and orange peanut M&M's for the noses and used pretzels for the antlers.

I used black gel for the eyes and mouths...

Aren't they cute? And the best part is that your little one can help you with them... as long as you watch them with the M&M's and donuts! And I'm talking about your significant other, not your child!

On the 21st Day of Pinterest...

My crafty love gave to me...

A fun way to use fabric scraps!

Here's my Pinterest inspiration...

So I did something super similar. I used a multi-colored strand of lights that was extra from my parent's. I would've rather used white lights because that's all we have in our house, but I also prefer "FREE", so multi-colored it is!

I grabbed 2 different patterns of Red and White fabric scraps and 2 different patterns of Green and White fabric scraps. I cut them into 1 1/2 inch strips and then tied them onto the strand of lights. I did this while sitting on the couch, watching TV.

I took this picture with my flash on so you could see the colored fabric scraps so you can't see the lights very well, but I'm sure you get the picture!

I taped the light garland onto our Hall tree.

Here's a close up of the lights and the fabric scraps. You can't really see the wire with the fabric wrapped around them, and the only reason I would've used white lights was so that the colors on the fabric stay true, but like I said, FREE is great! Maybe I'll pick up some white lights at an after Christmas sale...

You could easily do this same decor for a birthday party or celebration, just change the colors of your fabric to reflect the theme of the party of Holiday!

On the 20th day of Pinterest...

My crafty friend gave to me...

Easy, fun and playful Scrabble Ornaments!

Here's my Pinterest inspiration:

And I pretty much copied exactly what I saw!

I had an extra bag of Scrabble tiles that I'd found at a thift store and was able to spell the following with my letters:
Santa
Hope
Believe
FaLaLa
Reindeer
Joy
Bright
Merry
Tree
Xmas
Gifts
Cookies

As an OLD English major, I LOVE Scrabble and these little ornaments were super quick and easy to make! I just used a strong glue that works for glue, plastic, glass... glued them together and then hot glued bakers twine (shocker) to the back as their hangers. I let them dry overnight and that was it!

I'll see you tomorrow!
