FINALLY! Card 29 and Card 30: 30 Days

Well, my husband was able to get our computer to work just so I can blog (so important!) and use my Silhouette (VERY important!!!), although he told me to let him know a "good time" to take it to the Nerd Herd or Geek Squad or whatever... which is where I told him that there really is no "good time" and informed him that I'm just going to Costco to purchase a new one - which is when he gave me "The Look" and left for work. Hmmm, wonder who will win this one... probably him since we just found out that we need to either do a $400 repair on our oven OR buy a new one - yep, game point, Hubby.

Here are the last two cards of the 30 Cards: 30 Days Challenge... or more like 30 Cards: 3 months. Oh well, the best laid plans, right? For the Christmas Card I used Cosmo Crickets Christmas Line and for the Halloween Card I used a mixture of Making Memories. If anyone would like specifics, please let me know. I'll be posting a lot over the next week, I really do have a lot of projects that I'd like to share!

See you all soon!
Happy Wednesday!

Card 28: 30 Days

Hello!

Here is Card 28 - only 2 more cards left - whoop whoop (hands in the air)! This card is using Cosmo Crickets Mitten Weather again, and this time I used the purple... it was not the easiest card I've ever done... and to be honest, I had more than a little crafters block!

It's a simple card, I used the Silhouette to cut out my scallop rectangle, but you can easily do that with a border/corner punch. I also used the Silhouette to cut out "Merry Christmas", and I used Diamond Glaze over it. I added some pseudo mistletoe leaves and a few buttons w/ribbon in the bottom corner and called it good!

Let me know if you have any questions on measurements! Can you tell, after 28 Card my descriptions aren't as thorough...

See you tomorrow for ANOTHER Christmas Card!

Card 19: 30 Days

Hi All!
Sorry for the late post - again! And I'm sorry, but this one is going to be short and sweet. For Card 19 I decided to do a Christmas Card - WHAT?? In August?? Yes, in August! If I want to send out handmade Christmas Cards I should have started last December!

Anyways - I used Cosmo Crickets new Christmas line - it's pretty cool - it's the traditional red/green but they threw in a lavender on some of the papers - it's an interesting color combo - the paper's also a little bit shabby chic or retro and I just love it - especially the red and cream holly paper - I didn't use it in this card but I'll use it in the next Christmas Card. I also used Flower Soft in Diamond White for the snow on the window. I used my Silhouette for the window, green bough and Noel. Nothing like making snow in August in 100 degree heat!!

See you all tomorrow... I have no idea what I'll be making... it'll be a surprise for everyone!
